Was ich habe da gemacht? Lohnt es sich dort hinzufahren? Ist es schön da?
Ich war dieses Jahr über meinen Geburtstag (02.09.) in Karlsbad in Tschechien. Ich hatte schon oft gehört, dass Karlsbad und Marienbad mega schön sein sollen und da ich an meinem Geburtstag weg wollte und an einen Ort, an dem ich noch nie war hatte ich mich für Karlsbad entschieden.
Wir sind Freitag Mittag losgefahren und waren dann gegen Abend im Hotel. Wir hatten nämlich am ersten Abend ein Abendessen dabei. Unser Hotel war das 5 Sterne Hotel Savoy Westend mit mehreren Häusern – die waren so wunderschön mit Blick auf die Orthodoxe Kirche.
Es ist zwar etwas altmodisch eingerichtet aber war trotzdem sehr schön und unser Zimmer war riesig!
Freitagabend sind wir dann nur essen gegangen und danach noch kurz zur Bar was trinken und dann sind wir schlafen gegangen, damit wir Samstag fit sind. Vom Essen her war es sehr lecker und auch genug Auswahl – jedoch hatte ich auch schon bessere Buffets.
Samstag sind wir runter in die Stadt gelaufen und haben uns alles angeschaut. Die Stadt ist meg
a schön, allerdings leider auch sehr ausgestorben. Als wir dort waren hatte gerade ein Triathlon stattgefunden, weswegen die Stadt einigermaßen 
voll war und was geboten wurde, aber wäre das nicht gewesen wären wir gefühlt die einzigsten Touristen dort gewesen.
Auf einem Platz dort gab es eine Sandfigur die sah mega aus! Und es gibt dort überall dieses Quell/Heilwasser das 50-70Grad heiß ist und einen großen Sprudelbrunnen.
Wir sind dann noch in ein Kaiserbad Museum gegangen. Hier hat man gesehen, wie das früher war. Hat nur 2€ gekostet der Eintritt und war schon recht interessant, auch wenn nicht so viel zu sehen war.
Generell ist Karlsbad eher teurer, die Restaurants unten in der Altstadt verlangen richtig freche Preise. Lieber wo anders hin laufen und nicht dort essen. Wir haben allerdings eine Pizzeria in der Stadt gefunden, in der es richtig lecker war und vom Preis her auch super fair! Sie hieß Pizzeria Petr.
Hier waren wir sonntags dann gleich nochmal und es gab so geilen Cheescake als Nachtisch! :D.
Am Abend sind wir noch in den Spa Bereich bzw. ins Schwimmbad ins Hotel gegangen und dann hatte ich ja um 12 Geburstag, allerdings bin ich davor schon eingepennt.
Am Sonntag – meinem Geburtstag – sind wir dann zum Turm „Diana“ mit der Gondelbahn hochgefahren und hatten dort eine tolle Aussicht über Karlsbad auf dem Turm. Danach sind wir noch kurz durch die Altstadt geschlendert und dann Richtung Heimat gefahren. Wir sind allerdings noch kurz nach Marienbad weiter, aber das ist noch mehr ausgestorben und tot wie Karlsbad.
Fazit:
Karlsbad ist sehr schön, falls man da dran vorbeigeht, sollte man sich die Altstadt mal anschauen. Marienbad jedoch ist öde und langweilig und nicht wirklich schön. Karlsbad lohnt sich ansonsten meiner Meinung nach nicht wirklich. Da sollte man lieber nach Prag fahren, was wesentlich schöner ist!
